Sideskills is a contact based website that benefits those who are looking to find reliable people to do everyday things, fill open positions at work, or find new clients for their business or job. From property managers to event planners to designers to technical or legal things, Sideskills helps you find other users that you might know through you network of connections (you are connected to others within 6 degrees of separation). Right now there are almost 1,000 Skills (services/talents/skills) on the site from every industry and business. Sideskills can also be used for unpaid projects like finding guitar players to jam with your band or people to fill in with your softball/soccer/volleyball teams. You also have a calendar on your profile where people can see your upcoming events, band shows, work events etc.

Please make connections with people you may know, so that your network can help you receive referrals and invitations, or help you hire. Also, please make sure to fill out your profile, including filling out all your Skills and uploading your content into your portfolio (images, audio, video, documents). A 'Project Manager' (term for Employer) has the ability to search for employees based on specific skills. Sideskills currently offers more than 1,000 Skills for PM's to search for. The PM will see a list of matching Providers (and how they are connected to the resulting Providers), and hand-pick who they wish to invite to work on the project (or to the job opening). They can filter results by location, recommendations, feedback, portfolio, activity, and Skill match.

Sideskills is not just a job posting website, so Project Managers will need to select their Provider (or employee) based on who accepted the initial invitations. PM's will see a list of the Providers who accepted the invitation and can make their decision at anytime.
