Title: Cashier
1. Position: Cashier / Lobby / Expo 
2. Reports to: General Manager or Shift Manager

4. Duties & Responsibilities: 
•	Greet Guests to make them feel comfortable and welcome 
•	Take Guests’ orders effectively following the Ten Steps of Service
•	Proficient at cash and credit card transactions based on Sharky’s Systems
•	Demonstrate knowledge of the brand and menu items 
•	Serve food to our Guests in a courteous and timely manner, according to our 
•	Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the restaurant 
•	Ensure proper set up and/or breakdown of the Restaurant in specific the dining 
        room, restrooms, patio, salsa bar and Cashier area 
•	Effectively resolve Guest comments, concerns and complaints to a positive 
•	Work as a Team to prepare the Restaurant for each shift 
•	Acts with integrity, honesty and knowledge that promotes Sharky’s culture
•	Maintains consistent attendance and punctuality 
•	Create positive emotional connections with Guests & fellow Team Members
•	Contributes to a positive Team and Guest environment 
•	Ensure each Guest receives menu items according to Sharky’s standards for   
        quality, consistency and speed of service
•	Ensures salsa bar, condiments, ice tea and fountain drinks are set up and 
        restocked throughout the day
•	Maintains a safe food handling environment through the Restaurant
5. Qualifications: 
•	Be 18 years of age or older. 
•	Possess a positive attitude: works well with other Team Members 
•	The ability to handle money and operate a point-of-sale system 
•	Work in a standing position for time up to 6 hours with breaks 
•	Able to safely lift and easily maneuver bus trays weighing up to 20 to 25 pounds 
•	Willing to follow direction and ask for clarification if needed 
•	Able to work in a fast paced restaurant environment 
•	Ensure each Guest’s receives menu items according to Sharky’s Woodfired    
        Mexican Grill standards of quality, consistency and timeliness
•	Ensures salsa bar condiments, ice tea and fountain drinks are set up and 
        restocked throughout the day based on company standards.
•	Follows sanitation and safety procedures to maintain great dinning room
•	Able to carry entrée plates comfortably away from your body
•	Certified as a California Food Handler
Opening: Part Time with no schedule specified
Compensation: Based on experience
